Some children don’t have the words yet for what they’re going through. Instead, it can show up in behaviour, emotions, or changes at home and school. In therapy, there’s time to slow things down and gently understand what might be going on underneath.
Caregivers are part of the process too. We will work together to help make sense of what the child needs and how to support them in daily life.
Being a teen can feel overwhelming in ways that are hard to explain.
There can be pressure from school, friends, family, and figuring out who you are all at the same time. Therapy is a space where things don’t need to be perfectly put together. Some sessions are talkative, some are quiet, and both are okay.

The goal is simple: a space where you can feel safe, heard, and not judged while you figure things out at your own pace.
Being in a motor vehicle accident can stay with you long after the physical injuries have started to heal.
It can show up in different ways like anxiety while driving or riding in a car, flashbacks, tension in the body, sleep changes, irritability, or feeling on edge in situations that didn’t used to feel stressful.

It can show up in different ways like anxiety while driving or riding in a car, flashbacks, tension in the body, sleep changes, irritability, or feeling on edge in situations that didn’t used to feel stressful.
Therapy offers a space to process what happened at a pace that feels safe. There is no need to push through or rush the process. Some sessions focus on making sense of the experience, while others focus on calming the nervous system and helping the body feel safer again.
The goal is to support both the emotional and physical impact of the accident, so day-to-day life starts to feel more manageable again.
For many people, stress is not just about day-to-day pressures, but also about navigating culture, family expectations, identity, and belonging. Living between cultures can bring strength, but it can also bring confusion, pressure, or feeling like you have to hold parts of yourself in different spaces.

Living between cultures can bring strength, but it can also bring confusion, pressure, or feeling like you have to hold parts of yourself in different spaces.
Therapy offers a space where you do not have to choose or translate who you are. Your cultural background, family values, and lived experience are all welcome here.
This is a space to slow things down, feel understood, and make sense of what you are carrying in a way that feels respectful and human.
